Bull's career spans more than three decades, beginning in law enforcement, public safety, specialized task force assignments, and contract operational work for U.S. intelligence agencies. Before founding SRG, Bull served as the senior-most global security and safety executive at NVIDIA, appointed Facility Security Officer over the company's classified government programs and directing the convergence of physical security, security technologies, supply chain security, IP protection, insider threat, counterintelligence, and executive protection across one of the world's most strategically targeted technology companies. Earlier, as board-appointed Chief Security Officer and Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at First Republic Bank, he built the institution's first enterprise risk program in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, also directing bank security operations, cybersecurity program strategy, and the bank's financial crimes intelligence and investigations unit.
Bull's academic foundation moves from pre-medicine and criminalistics into law and graduate study in terrorism and counterterrorism, with a capstone in bioterrorism, graduate coursework in biodefense and microbial forensics, and an MBA from Pepperdine's Presidents and Key Executives program. He grew up living across multiple countries and has carried that international orientation into professional work across complex and volatile environments abroad, a range that lets him read business, legal, financial, operational, security, and geopolitical risk through a single lens instead of six.
Bull is the author of the forthcoming book The Appearance of Protection: Governing Family Office Security in an Era of Asymmetric Threats. He has spoken on asymmetric risk and emerging threats at the Spear's Summit in Abu Dhabi and London, and before legal, private banking, wealth management, and finance audiences internationally. His analysis has appeared in CNBC and across the security and risk press, including Cyber Security Review, Security Magazine, and Security Management, with contributions to Business Insider. He has been recognized since 2024 as a Top Recommended Adviser in the Spear's 500 Security, Intelligence & Investigations Index.
He is active in the American Bar Association's national security forum on financial crimes intelligence and white collar crime, the Security Industry Association, and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.
